Live The Life

I have started a new program to help me shed the pounds I've packed on over the past few years! I'm even going to be brave and post a few of my before pictures!

Check out "baby got back", and that gobbler I've been growing. HOLY COW, I look freakin' old!!! I'm embarrassed! Why didn't anyone tell me??? I can't wait to post my fabulous AFTER photos!!!! It's an amazing program and I'm loving each and every minute - honestly! The first week I lost 5 pounds so that helped motivate me. I'm drinking 4 liters of water a day (that's about 8 bottle of H2O) and eating every 2-3 hours (about 6 meals a day). It's been an amazing experience.
In addition, I've had the honor of doing this with my best friend, Jennie. Even though she lives nearly on the other coast, we've taken every step together. We were also able to really help each other through the tough second week as Daphne and I were able to spend the week with her at her beautiful home in Clarksville, Tennessee! She even put up with the major gas my body produced as a detox.
Here is a link that will tell you everything and give you a chance to get a sneak peak!

Our Eternal Bonds are Complete

Our eternal bonds were completed February 26, 2010 in the Salt Lake Temple. Bryston was sealed to Adam and I and it was such a special ceremony. All the children were there, dressed in white. Adam and I were in our temple attire and as we gathered around the alter the spirit was strong and the feelings were almost indescribable. We were very fortunate to have one of the Lord's apostles perform the ordinance. Elder Ballard did a beautiful job and was so happy to talk one on one with each of the kids. They all thought it was an amazing experience and hopefully is one they will never forget. I asked them to record their thoughts and feelings in their journals when they got home. Michelle came and took photos on the temple grounds for us and we met up with family afterward at the Lion House Pantry for a yummy lunch!
